In a poll conducted by a renowned media agency, Genelia has been voted as the cutest young actress in Bollywood. Others notable young beauties featured in the poll included Urvashi Sharma and Geeta Basra. Even though Genelia is relatively new to Bollywood, she has been making waves in Tollywood for quite some time now.

Genelia is the cutest and freshest from the crop of actresses flooding Tollywood. She hit the southern film industry like a whip of fresh air. This lovely London-born girl dreamt of becoming an actress so she backpacked to Mumbai, the Mecca of Bollywood to make her dreams a reality. Soon the lady luck smiled on her. She bagged the Parker ad and appeared alongside the great Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan. Genelia overnight became a media sensation as soon as the ad hit the market.
The dazzling beauty has since acted in several hit movies including "Bommarillu" wherein she rendered brilliant performance and won several awards including Filmfare Best Actress Award.
